Ingredients
Scale
Dry Ingredients
- 12 ounces Chow Mein Noodles
- 1 bag Cadbury Mini Eggs
Wet Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
Chips
- 1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips (12 oz)
- 1 bag Butterscotch Chips (12 oz)
Instructions
- Melt the Chips: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
- Add Peanut Butter: Stir the creamy peanut butter into the melted chips until completely combined, creating a smooth sauce.
- Mix with Chow Mein Noodles: Gently fold in the chow mein noodles, ensuring each noodle is evenly coated with the chocolate-peanut butter mixture without breaking them.
- Form the Nests: Using a spoon, drop clusters of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping each cluster into a nest shape by making a small well in the center.
- Top with Mini Eggs: Place three to four Cadbury Mini Eggs on top of each nest while the mixture is still soft to secure them.
- Chill to Set: Refrigerate the nests for at least 20 minutes or until firm and set.
- Serve: Once set, remove from fridge and serve at room temperature.
Notes
- Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture that blends well with the melted chips.
- Handle the chow mein noodles gently to keep them intact and crunchy.
- Store cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Cadbury Mini Eggs can be substituted with any small candy-coated chocolates.
