Description

A flavorful and creamy Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta that combines tender steak and succulent shrimp tossed in a rich Parmesan cream sauce seasoned with bold Cajun spices, perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine

Protein

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak, cubed

Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add the cubed steak, and cook until browned on all sides and cooked to desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook Shrimp and Garlic: In the same skillet, add the peeled and deveined shrimp along with the minced garlic. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add Cajun Seasoning: Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the shrimp and garlic in the skillet, stirring to coat evenly and enhance the flavors.
  5. Make Alfredo Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens to a creamy consistency.
  6. Combine Steak and Sauce: Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss gently to combine with the Alfredo sauce and shrimp.
  7. Toss with Pasta: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce, steak, and shrimp mixture.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Serve the Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta hot, garnished with chopped green onions for a fresh and colorful finish.

Notes

  • You can substitute penne or linguine if fettuccine is unavailable.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning quantity to your preferred spice level.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • Let the steak rest a few minutes after cooking for juicier bites.
  • This dish can be paired with a light green salad for a complete meal.
