- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 (1-oz) packages ranch dressing mix (adjust to your preference)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 250ºF (120ºC) to prepare for slow baking the snack mix.
- Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a very large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Cheez-Its, pretzels, and redskin Spanish peanuts. Ensure the bowl is large enough to toss the mix easily.
- Melt the Butter Mixture: In a small saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Once melted, add the Worcestershire sauce and ranch dressing mix. Stir gently until everything is combined and heated through.
- Coat the Snack Mix: Pour the melted butter and seasoning mixture evenly over the cereal mix in the large bowl. Toss thoroughly to coat all the pieces evenly with the ranch butter sauce.
- Arrange for Baking: Transfer the coated mix to a rimmed baking sheet, spreading it out in a single layer for even cooking.
- Bake the Mix: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for one hour. Stir the mix every 15 minutes to ensure even toasting and prevent burning.
- Cool and Store: Once baked, remove the mix from the oven and let it cool completely. After cooling, transfer to an airtight container for storage, maintaining freshness and crunch.
