Description

A savory and satisfying recipe featuring juicy grilled beef patties topped with creamy pub cheese spread, sweet beer caramelized onions, and crispy bacon, all served on toasted buns for the ultimate gourmet burger experience.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Patties

  • 1½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon burger seasoning blend

Toppings

  • 4-6 tablespoons pub cheese spread
  • Beer caramelized onions (see Notes for preparation suggestion)
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked

Buns

  • 4 burger buns (brioche, kaiser rolls, or pretzel rolls recommended; toasted)

Instructions

  1. Form Patties: Place the ground beef in a bowl and add the burger seasoning blend. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined, then form the mixture into 4 even patties.
  2. Grill Patties: Preheat your grill (or grill pan/skillet) to medium-high heat. Grill the beef patties for 7-10 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. Assemble Burgers: Remove the patties from the grill and place each on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top each patty with a generous tablespoon of pub cheese spread, a spoonful of beer-caramelized onions, and 2 slices of cooked bacon.
  4. Serve: Place the top half of the bun on each burger. Serve immediately, with your choice of additional toppings or sauces as desired.

Notes

  • For the beer caramelized onions, thinly slice onions and cook them slowly in a pan with a splash of your favorite beer over low heat until soft and caramelized, about 20-30 minutes.
  • Ensure bacon is cooked crisp to provide a nice texture contrast in the burger.
  • Toast the buns to prevent sogginess and add extra crunch.
  • Optional additions include lettuce, tomato, pickles, or mustard as desired.
