Description

These Frozen Peanut Butter Yogurt Bars are a delicious and healthy no-bake treat combining creamy Greek yogurt with natural peanut butter, sweetened with honey or maple syrup, and studded with mini chocolate chips. Perfect as a protein-rich snack or dessert, they require minimal preparation and freezing time to form a satisfying, freezer-friendly bar.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Optional Toppings

  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts or granola

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  2. Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips to distribute them evenly throughout the mixture without melting them.
  3. Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make removal easy.
  4. Pour and Spread: Pour the yogurt mixture into the prepared baking dish and use a spatula to spread it into an even layer.
  5. Add Toppings: Sprinkle the crushed peanuts or granola evenly over the top if using, adding texture and extra crunch.
  6. Freeze: Place the pan in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze for at least 3–4 hours or until firm and set.
  7. Cut and Serve: Once frozen solid, remove the bar slab from the pan using the parchment paper and cut it into 9 bars. Store the bars in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest and richest texture.
  • For an extra flavor twist, swirl in a bit of jam or melted chocolate before freezing.
  • Let the bars sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating to soften slightly for easier biting.
