Ingredients
Scale
Sliders
- 12 good quality Dinner Rolls
- 12 slices thinly sliced Honey Ham
- 12 slices Swiss Cheese
Sauce Topping
- 5 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 Tablespoon Minced Onion
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon Poppyseeds
Instructions
- Assemble the Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the dinner rolls in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Top each bottom half with one slice of honey ham and one slice of Swiss cheese. Cover each sandwich with the top half of the roll.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Whisk in the yellow mustard, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce until fully combined. Carefully pour this sauce evenly over all of the assembled sliders. Sprinkle the tops with poppy seeds. Let the sliders stand for about 10 minutes to allow the butter mixture to set slightly.
- Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese has completely melted and the tops are slightly golden. Serve the sliders warm.
- Freezer Instructions: To freeze, prepare the sliders as directed but do not bake. Place them in a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for up to 2 months. To reheat, thaw in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-30 minutes or until heated through.
Notes
- Use good quality, soft dinner rolls for the best texture.
- You can substitute Swiss cheese with other melts like cheddar or provolone.
- Adjust the amount of mustard and Worcestershire sauce to your taste preference.
- Letting the sauce set on the sliders before baking helps enhance flavor penetration.
- These sliders are best served warm and fresh but freeze well for make-ahead convenience.
