Description

Honey Garlic Salmon Bites are a quick and flavorful main course featuring tender salmon cubes marinated in a savory honey garlic glaze, then seared to caramelized perfection. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, these bites pair wonderfully with rice, noodles, or roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon and Marinade

  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Garnish and Serving

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, and black pepper until well combined to form a flavorful glaze.
  2. Marinate the salmon: Add the cubed salmon to the marinade and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly. Let the salmon marinate for 10 to 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Heat the skillet: Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm thoroughly before cooking.
  4. Sear the salmon: Add the marinated salmon cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook without stirring for 2 to 3 minutes to get a nice caramelized sear on one side.
  5. Flip and finish cooking: Turn the salmon cubes carefully and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and caramelized on all sides.
  6. Serve: Remove the salmon from the skillet and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, reserve a bit of the marinade before adding the salmon and simmer it separately to use as a glaze.
  • These salmon bites pair well with rice, noodles, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
