Ingredients
Scale
Salmon and Marinade
- 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 ½ tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Garnish and Serving
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, and black pepper until well combined to form a flavorful glaze.
- Marinate the salmon: Add the cubed salmon to the marinade and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly. Let the salmon marinate for 10 to 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Heat the skillet: Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm thoroughly before cooking.
- Sear the salmon: Add the marinated salmon cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook without stirring for 2 to 3 minutes to get a nice caramelized sear on one side.
- Flip and finish cooking: Turn the salmon cubes carefully and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and caramelized on all sides.
- Serve: Remove the salmon from the skillet and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, reserve a bit of the marinade before adding the salmon and simmer it separately to use as a glaze.
- These salmon bites pair well with rice, noodles, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
