- 1 (1-oz) package ranch dressing mix
- 1 (1-oz) package Au Jus gravy mix
- 6 whole pepperoncini peppers, from a jar
- 1 stick unsalted butter (approximately 4 tablespoons)
Instructions
- Prepare the Slow Cooker: Place the 3 lb pot roast in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker for even cooking.
- Add Seasonings: Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and Au Jus gravy mix evenly over the pot roast to infuse flavor during cooking.
- Add Peppers and Butter: Place the 6 whole pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast, then add the entire stick of unsalted butter on top of the roast and peppers.
- Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours until the roast is tender and easily shredded.
- Shred and Serve: Once cooked, shred the pot roast using two forks, mixing the melted butter and juices for flavorful meat. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
