Fudge Mixture

Chocolate Coating

Instructions
- Prepare the Fudge Mixture: In a heatproof bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, salted caramel sauce, and white chocolate chips.
- Double Boiler Melt: Place the bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water (double boiler method). Stir continuously until smooth and all white chocolate chips have melted.
- Add Sea Salt: Remove from heat, then stir in the fine sea salt until fully incorporated.
- Prepare Baking Dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Pour & Spread: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Chill the Fudge: Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until firm to the touch.
- Remove from Dish: Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang.
- Cut into Squares: Use a sharp knife to cut the fudge into 1-inch squares.
- Shape Truffles: Roll each square between your palms to form smooth, round balls.
- Arrange Truffles: Place the balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt Chocolate Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt finely chopped dark or milk chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy.
- Dip Truffles: Using a fork or dipping tool, submerge each fudge ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before returning to parchment.
- Set Chocolate: Let the chocolate coating set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker hardening.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once the chocolate shell is firm, serve the truffles or store them in an airtight container.
