For Cooking and Garnish
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions
- Coat the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated to ensure a crispy texture when cooked.
- Heat the Oil: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking, preparing the pan for cooking the chicken.
- Cook the Chicken: Add the coated chicken pieces to the skillet and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Prepare the Sauce: Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
