Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, black beans, corn, finely diced green pepper, and barbecue sauce until all components are evenly incorporated.
- Assemble in Casserole Dish: Pour the combined mixture into a large casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the mixture, followed by the french fried onions for added crunch and flavor.
- Bake the Casserole: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the casserole for approximately 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
