Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded sharp white cheddar, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, finely chopped green onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well until the mixture is creamy and evenly blended.
- Shape and Chill: Transfer the cheese mixture onto a large sheet of plastic wrap. Using the wrap, shape the mixture into a ball, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
- Create Skull Shape: After chilling, unwrap the cheese ball and shape it with your hands or use a skull-shaped mold to form Jack Skellington’s skull. Make sure the shape is defined and holds well.
- Decorate Face: Use sliced black olives or whole peppercorns to create eyes, nose, and the signature stitched mouth details of Jack Skellington’s face on the cheese ball.
- Serve: Place the cheese skull on a serving platter. Surround it with crackers, pretzels, or vegetable sticks and serve immediately for a fun and festive Halloween appetizer.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture before shaping.
- This cheese ball can be prepared a day ahead and stored tightly wrapped in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- For a dramatic presentation, use a dark serving platter or surround the cheese ball with Halloween-themed snacks for extra visual impact.
