- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Green food coloring, to taste

- Melt Butter: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter slowly, ensuring it does not burn.
- Add Marshmallows: Add the entire 10-ounce package of marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
- Add Green Food Coloring: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in green food coloring until the desired shade of green is achieved, mixing thoroughly.
- Mix in Cereal: Immediately add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to the green marshmallow mixture, stirring until every piece of cereal is well coated.
- Press Mixture into Pan: Transfer the sticky mixture into a greased pan and press it firmly and evenly into the pan to form a compact layer.
- Add Sprinkles: Before the treats begin to set, sprinkle 1/2 cup green sprinkles evenly over the top, gently pressing them in for adhesion.
- Cool and Cut: Allow the mixture to cool completely to set, then cut into 12 squares for serving.
