Ingredients
Scale
Fruit
- 1 cup frozen chopped pineapple
- 1 cup frozen chopped mango
- 1 frozen peeled, sliced banana
Liquids
- 1 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
- ½ cup coconut water
- ½ cup orange juice
- ½ cup pineapple juice
Optional
- Sweetener to taste (honey, agave, or sugar)
Instructions
- Blend: Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender, starting with the frozen fruit to ensure smooth blending. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no visible chunks.
- Adjust Consistency: Check the smoothie thickness. If it is too thick, pour in additional orange juice or coconut water gradually and blend again to reach your desired consistency. If too thin, add a few ice cubes and blend again until thicker.
- Sweeten to Taste: Taste your smoothie and, if desired, add sweetener such as honey, agave nectar, or sugar in small increments (½ tablespoon at a time). Blend briefly after each addition to combine and adjust sweetness perfectly.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie evenly into two glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Using frozen fruit helps create a thicker, colder smoothie without needing additional ice.
- You can substitute nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt with a dairy-free yogurt to make it vegan-friendly.
- Adjust the juice quantities to prefer a thicker or thinner smoothie.
- For extra protein, consider adding a scoop of your favorite protein powder during blending.
- Use fresh fruit if frozen is unavailable, but add ice to chill the smoothie.
